Zulu Ceremonial Pottery
The exhibition will be opened by Professor Juliet Armstrong of the University of KwaZulu-Natal and everyone is welcome to attend. Professor Armstrong is a renowned ceramic artist and academic who has researched indigenous ceramics, the types of work made, the different uses for the vessels and their ritual context in rural Zulu living.
Renowned potters Thembi Nala, Khulumeleni Magwaza, Shongasiphi Magwaza, Thandiwe Magwaza and Peni Gumbi will be in attendance at the opening function.
