Cheese and wine to celebrate new opening hours

The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum has extended its opening times until 18:00 every week night. You are now able to enjoy a pleasurable hour after work taking delight in the exhibitions and works on show and getting to know the city’s art collection.
To celebrate the new hours, we would like extend an open invitation to everyone to join us from 16:30 to 18:00 on Tuesday 23 September for cheese and wine and to view “Re-flex”, an exhibition of photographs and ceramics, showcasing the varied work of present and past students and staff of the NMM University. Their work explores not only ‘traditional’ genres; documentary, photojournalism, portraiture, landscape, still-life photography and film, but also fine-art photography .
To add to your enjoyment, Glenn Meyer, photographer and exhibition curator, will be there to talk about the work and members of staff and the Friends of the Museum will be on hand to welcome you.
