Actor, writer, creative and Executive producer for the National Arts Festival.
The Red Location Gallery and the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum supported by additional funding from the Friends of the Art Museum, have purchased new works for the art collection of Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality through a national call for entry and final exhibition.
The final list of artists selected to be purchased for the City's collection will be announced at the exhibition event.
Thirty artists from across the Eastern Cape were selected to be part of the exhibition, they are:
Angie Weisswange, Anton Brink, Ayanda Mji, Banele Njadayi, Bongani Njalo, Celela Nonongwe, Graham Jones, Joanne Reen, Jonathan Van der Walt, Karl Schoemaker, Khaya Gqomo, Lizo Pemba, Llise Dodd, Lookout Sibanda, Lydia Holmes, Marc Pradervand, Margot Muir, Michael Barry, Michael Wedderburn, Mxolisi Sapeta, Nokuzola Ngcangca, Nompumezo Gubevu, Nwabisa Mnqumevu, Phumlile Rawana, Raymond Westraadt, Sarah Walmsley, Simon Venter, Siphosethu Plam, Timothy Hopwood and Wandile Ntlanganiso.
