The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum will be presenting Visual Art workshops for Children during the school holidays.
Join us for a series of interactive workshops, where kids can unleash their imagination and creativity
Dates are as follows:
11, 12 December 2024.
18, 19, 20 December 2024.
11 December 2024: Seascapes and Beach Scenes - Explore ocean-inspired art, creating seascapes, beach scenes, and marine life.
12 December 2024: Fantasy Creatures - Design and draw mythical creatures.
18 December 2024: African-Inspired Christmas Decorations - Design and create unique Christmas decorations inspired by African patterns, colours, and textures.
19 December 2024: Gift Wrap Designs - Design and create unique gift wrap papers using various materials like stamps, stencils, and paint.
20 December 2024: Make Your Own Christmas Crackers - Bring small toys to put in your crackers and take home a unique festive treat!
The COST is R30 per workshop per child
Time: 9:30am until 12:30pm
Please note:
- BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL as only a limited number of participants can be accommodated.
- You may call or WhatsApp us on 079 4900 690 to book your child’s seat.
- The workshops are for Children between the ages of 7 and 15 years old.
- Bookings work on a first call first serve basis.
- All materials will be provided.
- Please bring along an apron or old clothes.
- Parents are not allowed in the workshop area.
- A child may book a maximum of 4 workshops
